This tour takes you to one of Italy - and perhaps the world's - most famous art galleries. On the day of the tour, you'll enter door number 1 of the Uffizi Gallery and pick up your audioguide to begin your journey through some of the world's most famous works of art.
The Uffizi Gallery contains works of art by Italian artists such as Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Raffaelo. Though it contains works from all eras, the majority of the Uffizi Gallery's artwork dates back between the 12th and 17th centuries. Your audioguide will discuss the history of the Gallery, and take you to see works such as:
The Birth of Venus: Painted in the late 1400's by Botticelli, The Birth of Venus depicts the Roman goddess rising from the sea. One of Botticelli's most famous works, The Birth of Venus has become one of the most heavily referenced and most iconic pieces of Italian art.
Adoration of the Magi: A popular theme for paintings, this version of Adoration of the Magi is by Fabriano, and is considered one of his finest works. The Uffizi Gallery also houses young Leonardo da Vinci's depiction of the same scene.
Annunciation: Once again drawing on Biblical themes, this painting by da Vinci depicts the angel Gabriel telling Mary that she would bear the Son of God. This particular scene was also popular among other Renaissance artists.
Doni Tundo: Sometimes called The Holy Family, Doni Tundo is the only surviving finished panel painting by Michelangelo in his older years. Painted in the early 1500's, Doni Tundo depicts Mary, Jesus, and Joseph soon after Jesus' birth.
Your tour will end when you want it; the audioguide allows you to work your way through each museum at your own pace. You can choose to see every single piece of art in the museums, or only visit a couple, ensuring a personalized tour experience.

This was fine except they wanted to keep my passport in order for me to get headphones and the line to get headphones was long. I did NOT want to give asspoet or wait in line so...
