Outside Gate #3 of the Uffizi Museum where your guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name written on it. Coming from Piazza della Signoria, gate #3 is located on your right on the opposite side of gate #2
The tour ends inside the Uffizi Gallery
The Uffizi Gallery was originally constructed for the city’s judiciary offices, but slowly filled with artwork owned by the rulers of the Medici family. With 1500 pieces of art in 45 rooms, the museum houses possibly the world's greatest collection of primitive and renaissance paintings.
Admire masterpieces by Giotto, Botticelli, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Tiziano and Caravaggio, just to name a few. Spend some time in the open-air sculpture garden of Piazza Signoria to admire the fine works on display. Your expert guide will enlighten you about the artists and their works as well as the legacy of the Medici family, the patrons of Florence.
The private guide is at your disposal for 2.5 hours in the Uffizi Gallery after which time you are free to stay and explore on your own.
