Make your Italian Riviera dream come true on this Cinque Terre one-day tour. Find yourself trekking through this colourful Mediterranean town, admiring and exploring the picturesque small villages that make it. A beautiful string of centuries-old seaside villages, Cinque Terre takes its name from five fishing villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. Just follow your guide through the coastline as you get to know your Mediterranean escape better!
Your first destination will be Manarola Village, the second smallest town out of five. Enjoy a refreshing boat ride from here to Monterosso Village - the only village in Cinque Terre to be accessible by car, with a beach of its own! It is also famous for its lemon trees and anchovies.
Follow your guide to the next village which is just a short train ride away. The Vernazza Village is probably the prettiest of the lot! With tiny cafés and cobbled streets at every turn, this makes for a perfect stop on the tour. Here, you’ll have some free time so make sure to explore the many bars, cafes and beautiful narrow lanes.
Catch the train again to your next destination, the Riomaggiore Village. This is the largest amongst the five villages, situated on the easternmost side. Here, we spend some free time as well! Head towards the sea for a quick swim in the Mediterranean or explore the gorgeously ornate shops to pick something for your loved ones or walk along the famous Via dell’Amore track along the cliff-tops to get a scintillating view! Enjoy some local cuisine, as you’ll be served a delicious traditional lunch in a typical restaurant along with great views of the sea and hill extending to the rocky coves.
The tour ends as you board the train back to La Spezia before returning to Florence by coach.
Please note that the order of the visits to the villages may change.
Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour to confirm all details.
