    Itinerary

Meet your guide at Door 1 of the Uffizi Gallery Museum and get an express entry into the museum with your ticket. Make sure to reach the venue 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.

Up first in your morning museum tour is the Uffizi Gallery, with a collection considered to be second after Vatican. Follow your guide around and observe the renowned Renaissance artistry of Raphael, Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Cimabue, Masaccio and many others. Renowned for many, this museum is known mostly for two significant paintings by Botticelli, the Birth of Venus and Primavera.

The Birth of Venus is termed as the icon of the museum. A Renaissance Neo-platonic work, it is depicting the birth of love and spiritual beauty as a driving force of life. Another masterpiece on display is Tondo Doni , Michelangelo’s only painting in Florence.

The guided tour leads you next to the Uffizi Terrace with an amazing view of the city and many monuments. The tour ends here.

Feel free to walk around the museum for a bit longer. Your next tour starts in an hour at Accademia Gallery where you’ll find your guide. The distance between the two galleries is 1.2 km that can be easily covered by walking in 12-20 minutes.

The second course of the Florentine ‘art-venture’ continues in Accademia Gallery. Uncover many secrets of the great Michelangelo and his sculpture David by listening to your professional guide. Learn about the profound expressions and the significance behind the making of this masterpiece. Carved out of an entire marble block, this nude male statue mirrors the freedom of Florence. Also check out other works of the maestro like the I Prigioni , San Matteo and the Palestrina Pietà .

Your tour ends at the museum, after which you can either choose to enjoy lunch at a historical restaurant or explore Florence on your own.
